About Onze
Onze is a free daily guessing game for football fans — a new mystery World Cup player to crack every single day.
Inspired by the daily-puzzle format, Onze challenges you to identify a mystery footballer in five guesses. After each guess, six clues — country, confederation, position, league, age and shirt number — light up green, yellow or grey to steer you toward the answer. It is quick to learn, hard to master, and a fresh challenge arrives worldwide at midnight UTC.
How it plays
Type any real player to make a guess. Green means an exact match, yellow means you are close, and grey means no match. Directional arrows point you toward the answer's country, or higher and lower for age and shirt number. Solve it in as few guesses as you can, build a streak, and collect a sticker for every player you crack.
Game modes
- Daily — one shared World Cup '26 player for everyone, every day.
- Legends — guess the retired icons of the game.
- Live — on match days, the answer is drawn from the two squads playing.
Each mode has Easy, Medium and Hard tiers, from global superstars to deep-cut squad players, so there is a challenge whether you are a casual fan or a tactics-board obsessive.
Free to play
Onze is 100% free. It is supported by advertising and optional rewarded videos — for example, watching a short ad to unlock a bonus guess or a cosmetic theme. You never have to pay to play the daily puzzle.
Built for a global audience
Football is the world's game, so Onze is available in 16 languages. Pick your country to theme the game in your flag's colours and climb the national leaderboard.
